A great pleasure to be in contact with you. Many thanks for your comments... I was invited to take part/speak by JP Morgan in London at their Beauty Forum. Some big names there. Puig, Estee Lauder, some distributors and skincare companies. I was speaking on the evolution and future of niche as I saw it. I was specifically interested in the logic behind why brands are bought by the big perfume conglomerates and then how they handle them after.
I ¨ruffled a feathers¨with questions. To the point where the CEO of Puig told the room ¨The world does not need another perfume.¨He looked quite upset when he said it. But I got to thinking after as I was wandering around London smelling niche fragrances. You know what, he has a point. I know, shock, horror. But...I was very disappointed in many fragrances and brands. They had no passion, no story, no soul.
Then I heard at Pitti there were 84 new fragrance brands launched. 84!! How can they all be successful? How and where are they sold. How can you connote passion and your story? How many will be there this time next year? I´m going to write more in the next article. So coming back to my earlier comment. I love your story and your passion comes through in your writing. You are also trying to do things to differentiate your brand.
The bottles are fabulous and refillable. Excellent, why would you want to throw away one of those bottles?! 100% natural ingredients. That´s tough. Not just the ingredients but how they work together without fillers like Iso E Super. How they last. How stable they are. So congratulations, I really look forward to smelling. Finally I love your original country. I was there a couple of times, once for business and once for pleasure (playing golf up in the hills).
