“Passionate about the 100% natural and botanical essencesMy story is linked to theCeylon island, located in the Indian Ocean. I grew up in Sri Lanka in a completely natural environment. When I was little, I used to pick flowers with my sister to adorn and perfume the hair of the women in my house.

From my childhood, I developed a fine sense of smellby inhaling these scents and experimenting with flower blends. I had no prior knowledge of perfumery, but this immersion in the scents of nature was an integral part of my life.

In 1980, the Civil War forced my family to leave the island and seek refuge in France. It is at Paris that I discovered the world of fashion and luxury, and that I was seduced by the perfumes of the great couturiers and perfumers.

After the birth of my first child with Asperger's syndromeBeing allergic to synthetic perfumes, I looked for healthy alternatives to use as perfume. Despite my research, I haven't found any perfume made with ingredients 100% botanical and respectful of health. So I decided to create my own solution: I trained in therapeutic and cosmetic aromatherapyThen I started creating refined perfumes with unique scents, combining travel, nature and yoga.

In 2020, my son Adrien, aged 17 and inspired by my creations, launched ANUJA PARIS, the first French brand to offer fragrances made with 100% botanical essences, a true innovation in the world of perfumery. He is its founder and director.

In July 2022, I won the IPF award for best natural and eco-responsible perfumer in the worldIt was during this ceremony that I met Pierre Dinand, a living legend in bottle design. Following this encounter, he created a magnificent bottle inspired by a Tibetan yogi, where the stopper represents the head and the glass body the meditative posture, symbolizing balance and serenity. Pierre Dinand also designed the logo. ANUJA PARISbringing a touch of authentic and timeless luxury.
